Winter weather permitting, construction volunteers have been building a new deck after removing a mudroom and rotted stairs. New siding behind the deck will follow.

As a Brush with Kindness/Critical Repair project, we replaced several sections of missing and damaged vinyl siding on a house in North Adams. We also replaced rotted deck boards and deck steps.

As a Brush with Kindness/Critical Repair project, we added an access ramp coming off an existing deck, moving and repair the existing deck steps. We also repaired deck railings and added spindles to the deck as well as to the steps and the new access ramp.
As a Brush With Kindness/Critical Repair project, we replaced railings, spindles and lattice on a side deck and demolished and rebuilt a front porch with new framework, floor, railings, lattice and steps.
As a veterans repair project, we replaced a rotted sill, rebuilt a short exterior wall and reinstalled the exterior door and siding. We also replaced a broken bulkhead door and replaced vinyl siding along the lower front walls of the house.
